Liberty & Co 'Solkets' Pewter Muffin Dish (0910)
Hammered finish pewter muffin dish made by WH Haseler who was a designer for liberty, but it is unknown wether he was an employee or an independent (like A. Knox) In 1903 Liberty concentrated on making their own 'Tudric' range. They achieved an individual style quite different to what they had previously imported, but also made it to a very high standard. It was made solely by the Birmingham firm of WH Haseler who used the mark "solkets". The number 0910 denotes that it was made pre 1914. Stylised handles and enamelled cabochon surrounded by a copper ring. A beautifully made, quality item. Please note there is some damage to the enamel. Please select delivery option A. Or option E if a signature is required. Overseas customers please contact us for a tailored delivery quote.
